At Southeastern Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc, our goal is to offer topnotch rehabilitation and superior patient experience while improving quality of life. It is our objective to change the narrative of prosthetic care in East Tennessee by putting the client-first in every decision we make.
From the start, our founder and president, Aaron Sorensen, has been dedicated to maintaining RHSG as a private company in East Tennessee. Since we are not a public listed company, controlled by private equity or venture capitalists, we don’t respond to financial drivers or shareholders like other Tennessee Prosthetic and Orthotic companies.
The governance structure adopted by other companies requires them to concentrate on maximizing profits, with less or no focus on you- the patient. This corporate independence gives our team a competitive advantage that many prosthetic and orthotic companies in Tennessee lack, to concentrate on your care. We focus on treating the patient, as opposed to chasing your insurance claim.
Something that most patients don’t know is that most P&O companies because of their corporate structure force their clinicians to “prescribe” pre-approved prosthetic and orthotic components to maximize on profits without paying attention to the best treatment for you- the patient. That’s not what we do at RHSG! We are not driven by profits but by the quality of prosthetic care we offer.
Our compassionate clinicians opted to pursue this career because they are passionate about assisting patients restore quality of life and improve mobility. As both the owner and a skilled clinician, Aaron treats a lot of patients daily. Being a committed clinician first and foremost is what drives Southeastern O&P passion and corporate culture from the top down for comprehensive care available.
